Today we announced we are the Fastest Growing Mobile Search Service in the fastest growing search segment — SMS Search. Very exciting. We’ve surpassed over 1 million users and over 27 million queries. The viral nature and popularity of the service has been phenomenal.
“Mobile search is growing at an incredible pace,” says Chris Quick, mobile media analyst with Nielsen Mobile. “Within the mobile SMS search category, ChaCha is the fastest growing service, increasingly competitive with other mobile search providers. We’re therefore keeping very close tabs on how ChaCha will affect the mobile market.”
Given our growth rates, we are likely to surpass Yahoo in mobile search by the end of Q3. That will be fun to watch. Watch out Google
